Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for providing recommendation information using a content use history under an N-screen environment. The apparatus for providing recommendation information according to the present invention comprises: a history receiving part receiving use history information of target content, which is transmitted by at least one terminal device; a preference determining part determining a preference type of the target content based on the use history information; and a recommendation information providing part providing recommendation information including the preference type to the terminal device of a recommendation target person. |
