<p>A contact plate intended to be brought into contact with the wall of an electrode of an electro-metallurgical furnace, comprising an internal channel having an inlet and at least one outlet which can be linked respectively to an external supply conduit and at least one external discharge conduit for a fluid. According to the invention, at least one elongate hole (16) is provided, inside which an elongate partition (35) is installed that has opposing elongate edges (39) adjacent to opposing elongate areas (33) of the elongate hole so as to define, in said hole, elongate spaces (16a-16b) to either side of the elongate partition, the elongate partition defining a communication passage (41) between said elongate spaces and connecting holes (29) communicating with said elongate spaces being provided at a distance from said communication passage, said elongate spaces forming portions of said internal channel (59).</p> |
