<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary shaft assembly capable of suppressing vibration in a vibration mode to the utmost, even during high-speed rotation. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary shaft assembly 5 includes a plurality of rotary shaft parts 5a, and ends of the rotary shaft parts 5a are connected to each other by a connection 26 and turned into one shaft. Bending rigidity of the connection 26 is lower than that of the rotary shaft parts 5a. The connection 26 is formed of a composite material, and formed into a bellows shape. The rotary shaft parts 5a are preferably used for this centrifugal compressor 1 by fixing an impeller 7 to the connection 26.
