PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PLL frequency synthesizer that avoids a phase noise performance degradation caused when frequency resolution is increased.SOLUTION: A PLL frequency synthesizer includes: a phase comparator for converting a phase difference between an input signal from a reference signal generator and a feedback signal to a voltage to be output; a loop filter for filtering an output voltage of the phase comparator; a voltage-controlled oscillator for controlling an output frequency on the basis of a voltage of an input signal from the loop filter; a multiplier for multiplying an output signal of the voltage-controlled oscillator by an integer M; and a frequency divider for dividing a frequency of an output signal of the multiplier by an integer N in outputting the feedback signal to the phase comparator. |
