<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge control device for preventing the occurrence of a situation in which the residual capacity in a power supply side battery is short after completion of charging a power reception side battery.SOLUTION: The charge control device is provided for charging a second battery in a vehicle on the power reception side with power of a first battery in a vehicle on the power supply side. The charge control device comprises: power supply side capacity setting means for setting, as necessary residual capacity, the residual capacity of the first battery required for the vehicle on the power supply side reaching a first target location while acquiring present capacity of the first battery; power reception side capacity setting means for setting, as necessary charge capacity, capacity of the second battery required for the vehicle on the power reception side reaching a second target location; and determination means for calculating, as residual capacity after charge, the residual capacity of the first battery after charging the second battery from difference between the present capacity of the first battery and the necessary charge capacity, comparing the calculated residual capacity after charge with the necessary residual capacity, and determining whether or not to charge the second battery with power of the first battery on the basis of a result of the comparison.</p> |
