<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print circuit board connector which allows a higher packaging density inside a device.SOLUTION: A connector 10 comprises a housing 1 and a plurality of contacts 2. The housing 1 has a first elastic arm 11 and a pair of flange pieces 13, 13. The first elastic arm 11 protrudes from the lateral face of the housing 1. The flange pieces 13 protrude from both wings of the housing 1 with a step, comparably thick as a board thickness of a print circuit board 1p, formed from the bottom face of the housing 1. Each of the contacts 2 is provided with a terminal of an electric wire w connected thereto and has a lead part 22 protruding from the housing 1. The print circuit board 1p has: a cutout 13p to which the housing 1 can be fitted from the bottom side thereof; and a conductor pad 14p to which the lead part 22 can be bonded by soldering. When the bottom face of the housing 1 and another face 12p of the print circuit board 1p substantially overlap each other, the first elastic arm 11 energizes force toward the inner wall of the cutout 13p so as to temporarily fix the housing 1 to the print circuit board 1p.</p> |
