<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce ink curing inside nozzles by suppressing reflection of electromagnetic waves.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a nozzle head which is provided with nozzles for discharging ink cured by electromagnetic waves and relatively moves toward a printing medium at least in a main scanning direction; irradiation sections which relatively move together with the nozzle head, are positioned at least downstream the nozzle head in the main scanning direction and irradiate the electromagnetic waves; and a controller for controlling intensity of the electromagnetic waves. First intensity of the electromagnetic waves in a constant speed region where the irradiation section and the printing medium face to each other and a speed of the relative movement is constant is greater than second intensity of the electromagnetic waves in an acceleration/deceleration region where at least parts of the irradiation section and the printing medium do not face to each other and the speed of the relative movement is not constant.</p> |
