PURPOSE:To ensure and simplify the assembly process of a recording head, and to improve the reliability of the operation of recording head itself by forming a cavity section to the connecting sections between a wiring member and a discharge energy generating element. CONSTITUTION:Tie bars 2B are cut before electrodes 8 on a heater board 3 and the wirings of a lead frame 2 are connected by wires 9. A cavity section 7 penetrating upper and lower surfaces is shaped to a chip tank for cutting the tie bars. A cutter is operated along the wall of the cavity section, and the tie bars 2B are cut. The wirings 2A of the lead frame 2 are separated electrically, and wire-bonded with the electrodes 8 on the heater board 3 corresponding to each wiring 2A. Since the flow path of ink is parted by the wall surface of the cavity section 7 of the chip tank, the residual flow paths can be ensured even when the dust, etc., of bubbles are mixed and one flow path is clogged. |
