PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle lens appropriate for visual recognition.SOLUTION: The measurement method includes: a display process of displaying visual information constituted of at least one of a text, diagram, and picture; a measurement process of measuring the information related to the peripheral view of a subject when the visual information is recognized in a state in which the subject wears a spectacle lens; and a process of selecting at least one spectacle lens from a plurality of spectacle lenses on the basis of the measurement result or designing a spectacle lens on the basis of the measurement result.
