The present invention relates to a glass ceramic composition and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of a glass ceramic composition of the present invention comprises: a collection step of collecting waste glass bottles, waste glass utensils, and other waste glass products, by not separating the same by colors, sizes, kinds, and components, and collecting waste glass products by crushing the same; a waste glass raw material mixing step of uniformly mixing and preparing 95-97 wt% of the waste glass products and 3-5 wt% of a binder; a waste glass raw material ceramic reaction step of adding a waste glass raw material to a high-temperature sintering furnace, and obtaining a glass ceramic reactant by thermal-processing the waste glass raw material for 30-60 minutes at high temperatures of 750-1100°C; and a final step of cooling the glass ceramic reactant at room temperature, and then obtaining a glass ceramic composition. The present invention can be helpfully used as a medium to eliminate a pollutant of sewage or waste water. |
