METHOD OF SWITCHING THE ESL TAG

The present invention relates to a method to switch electronic shelf label (ESL) tag displays. A system, consisting of a database that stores page information including product data, a server that transmits the data by using a communications device, display unit, a communications module unit, and a ESL tag comprises the steps of: switching to an active mode by receiving wake-up signals on the ESL tag; connecting, by communications module unit, to the server; receiving data on products; waiting for screen switch signals; and switching the screen in response to the received screen switch signals. In this way, the invention can show different screens on a single display through selective switch of product information.
