Liquid composition comprises a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonist and/or its salt, an insulin and/or its salt, optionally at least one adjuvant, and methionine. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a combination comprising a first pharmaceutical composition and a second pharmaceutical composition, and optionally at least one additional pharmaceutical composition, each having at least one insulin and at least one GLP-1 agonist, where at least one insulin and/or at least one GLP-1 agonist are present in varying weight proportions, based on the total weight of the composition; (2) a kit comprising the combination; (3) preparing the composition, combination and the kit, comprising formulating GLP-1 agonist and/or its salt, an insulin and/or its salt, methionine and optionally at least one adjuvant; (4) treating a patient with the composition, combination or the kit, comprising administering the composition to the patient; and (5) use of the composition, comprising administering the insulin, GLP-1 agonist and/or its salt together with a dose of metformin.
