ELECTRIC WAVE TRANSPARENT COVER, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture an electric wave transparent cover capable of suppressing thermal damage occurring in a transparent member during insert molding of a base material.SOLUTION: The electric wave transparent cover 10 is a cover disposed in a path of an electric wave of an electric wave radar device, and includes a transparent member 20 made of a resin material and a base material 50 that is made of resin material and formed on the rear surface side of the transparent member 20. The cover 10 also includes: a decorative layer 30 formed on the rear surface of the transparent member 20; and a reduction sheet 40 that is previously molded of a resin material, is disposed on the decorative layer 30 so as to cover the rear surface of the decorative layer 30, and reduces the heat transfer to the transparent member 20 side during insert molding of the base material 50.
