<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: in a fixing device including a cylindrical film, a heater contacting the inner surface of the film, and a back-up member forming a nip part with the heater with the film interposed therebetween, when a heat conduction member is brought into contact with the entire part in the longitudinal direction of the heater in order to suppress an increase in temperature of a non-paper feed part when a small-size recording material passes therethrough, a fixing property reduces at ends of a recording material.SOLUTION: A heat conduction member is brought into contact with a heater in a generating line direction of a film except for end areas of a heating resistor, and the resistance per unit length of the end areas is lower than the resistance at the center part of the heating resistor.</p> |
