<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to insert a cleaning member from the outside of the image forming apparatus to clean a dustproof cover, while easily obtaining fixed cleaning quality regardless of skill of a service person.SOLUTION: A dustproof cover cleaning member 22 includes a body section 24, and a cleaning section 26 arranged at a tip in an insertion direction of the body section 24. When the dustproof cover cleaning member 22 is inserted inward from an opening formed on the body of an image forming apparatus, the tip enters a guide section 84 formed in an optical scanner. When the dustproof cover cleaning member 22 is pushed in more, h1>h2 is satisfied, and a top face of the dustproof cover cleaning member 22 is regulated by a pawl section 88 to elastically deform the cleaning section 26, thereby coming into contact with a surface of a dustproof glass 8 due to resilience thereof. The cleaning section 26 has cloth (not shown) attached thereto, to enable cleaning with fixed pressure by pushing/pulling the cleaning section 26.</p> |
