PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external charging electrostatic coating hand gun machine that can suppress a deposition of paint onto a high voltage-impressed part, can remove even water content due to dew condensation or the like onto the high voltage-impressed part, and can avoid a leak current by high voltage at the high voltage-impressed part.SOLUTION: An external charging electrostatic coating hand gun machine of this invention comprises: a coating machine body; an air cap provided around a paint outlet of the coating machine body and having a pattern forming air holes that form a spray pattern in an inner wall surface facing paint blown out of the paint outlet; a high voltage-impressed part arranged by being extended over the air cap from the coating machine body in a blowout direction of the paint; and an air spray structure that sprays air to the high voltage-impressed part.
