<p>A deck structure for a freight vehicle is provided with: a cross member (5) extending in the width direction of the vehicle and joined to left and right side members; a sill cross member (8) joined to ends of the cross member; a deck floor panel (9) joined to the upper surface of the cross member; wheel wells (10) joined to the floor panel and allowing the rear wheels to be disposed therein; and reinforcement plates (20) each joined to each end of the sill cross member and to each wheel well in such a manner that the reinforcement plate (20) straddles the sill cross member and the wheel well. The reinforcement plates each have: a recess (20a) cut and formed therein so as to extend rearward from the front side thereof in the front-rear direction of the vehicle; and a stress relaxation end section (20b) bent inward in the width direction of the vehicle at a position below the recess. The reinforcement plates are joined at the stress relaxation sections to the sill cross member (8).</p> |
