<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device which enables easy inspection of a built-in antenna and attains high performance of the built in antenna. <P>SOLUTION: In a communication terminal device according to this invention, a built in antenna 4 is housed in the housing 1 and a housing 1 allows a front cabinet 12 and a back cabinet 13 to join with each other. Further, a battery lid 16 is detachably attached to a rear surface of the back cabinet 13. Then, an antenna installation part is provided so as to be recessed on the rear surface of the back cabinet 13, and the built-in antenna 4 is installed in the antenna installation part.
