<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method that can promptly inspect a casting article in a high temperature state. <P>SOLUTION: The method for inspecting a casting article, includes cooling steps S8, S10 of cooling a casting article and also detecting the amount of decrease in temperature of an inspection region defined as an inspection object in a surface of the casting article. The method for inspecting a casting article, can identify a flaw in the inspection region based on the detected amount of decrease in temperature.
