<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reclining apparatus that can correctly align a first member and a second member and align the second member and a cam. <P>SOLUTION: Guide projections 26 are provided on a face opposite to the bottom of a ratchet (first member) 21 of a base plate (second member) 25.
