<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel assembly for an infant carrier apparatus which includes a shock absorber, and one wheel or more pivotably coupled to the shock absorber. <P>SOLUTION: This wheel assembly includes the shock absorber, and the one wheel or more pivotally coupled to the shock absorber. Examples of the infant carrier apparatus may include an infant stroller apparatus. In several embodiments, the shock absorber is directly connected to a support frame of the infant carrier apparatus.
