PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a cable connection error in a storage device to which DEs are cascaded.SOLUTION: A DE-DISK-TBL of a CMT 31 stores configuration information on a storage device, and an acquisition unit 33 acquires information on connected DEs and disk devices and stores the acquired information in an ENCMAP 34. A member notification unit 35 acquires a DE-No from the DE-DISK-TBL using the information on the disk devices stored in the ENCMAP 34 as a search key. Furthermore, a class notification unit 36 acquires a DE-No from the DE-DISK-TBL using the information on the DEs stored in the ENCMAP 34 as a search key. A generalization unit 37 determines the DE-No of each connected DE on the basis of the DE-No acquired by each of the member notification unit 35 and the class notification unit 36, and a check unit 38 determines whether a cable connection error occurs on the basis of the DE-No determined by the generalization unit 37. |
