PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin composition excellent in surface impact resistance, impact resistance, and the like, and to provide a molded article thereof.SOLUTION: A polycarbonate resin composition contains: a polycarbonate resin which has a structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound having a moiety represented by formula (1) in a part of the structure and has a glass transition temperature (Tig) of less than 145°C; and an impact strength modifier having a core-shell structure. A polycarbonate resin molded article is obtained by molding the polycarbonate resin composition. (The case where the moiety represented by the formula (1) is part of -CH-O-H is excluded.)
