PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming die capable of removing molding material, which has solidified in a place beyond an exit of a gas passage, even if a part of the molten molding material has solidified in the place beyond the exit of the gas passage, and to provide a cleaning pin.SOLUTION: A forming die 10 includes: a forming die body 100; and a built-in type chill vent 200 arranged at a position surrounded by an annular cavity 130. The forming die 10 further includes a cleaning pin 500 having a function of: discharging gas from a gas passage 150 via a gas vent hole to the outside during molding by reciprocation of the cleaning pin 500 in a gas discharge through-hole 176 of a movable side die and a gas discharge through-hole 172 of a movable side block; and removing the molding material, which happens to adhere to an inner circumferential surface of the gas discharge through-hole 172 of the movable side block, after molding, by operation of a tip end of the pin. |
