PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of performing memory allocation to a threshold value matrix for images of each color according to a state of image formation, flexibly and properly.SOLUTION: An image processing device sets a threshold value matrix for performing a screen process that uses a threshold value matrix respectively for the image data in a plurality of colors relating to an output image. It includes allocation means which allocates a threshold value matrix used for each of the image data in a plurality of colors to each threshold value matrix for distribution, within a range in which the amount of allocation of total memory to the threshold value matrix is a predetermined upper limit size or less, setting means for setting each threshold value matrix at a size corresponding to the amount of allocation, and memory means for storing a plurality of threshold value matrices that are set in respective allocated memory regions. |
