<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence caused by error of a conveyance amount of recording media when verifying the deviation of a cutting position.SOLUTION: A recording apparatus includes a conveyance unit capable of conveying a recording medium, a recording unit capable of recording an image in the recording medium, a cut unit capable of cutting the recording medium in the direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the recording medium, and a control unit for controlling the conveyance unit, the recording unit and the cut unit. The control unit can perform a test operation in which recording of an index by the recording unit and cutting of the recording medium by the cut unit are performed in a state where conveyance of the recording medium by the conveyance unit is stopped.</p> |
