PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor which is superior in resistance against charge and discharge, small in the change in electric property even under a high-temperature and high-humidity condition, and superior in humidity resistance. ! SOLUTION: A solid electrolytic capacitor comprises: a capacitor element arranged by winding a cathode foil and an anode foil with a dielectric oxide coating formed thereon with separator interposed therebetween; and a conductive polymer layer on the dielectric oxide coating. In a method for manufacturing the solid electrolytic capacitor, the conductive polymer layer is formed by impregnation with a fluid dispersion containing polyethylene dioxythiophene and polystyrene sulfonate, followed by drying; the fluid dispersion contains a binder. !
