<p>The present invention relates to an austenitic steel material with excellent strain hardening rate and excellent wear resistance, and a manufacturing method thereof. An embodiment of the present invention provides the austenitic steel material with excellent strain hardening rate comprising: 14-20 wt% of Mn; 0.4-1.2 wt% of C; 0.01-0.5 wt% of N; 0.5-10 wt% of Cr; and the remainder consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities having fine structures having 3% or less of carbide with respect to a total area and the remainder consisting of an austenitic structure, and to a manufacturing method thereof. The austenitic steel material has a yield ratio (yield strength/tensile strength) of 0.5 or less, and a uniform elongation ratio of 30% or higher. The present invention provides a high-strength austenitic steel material applicable to a technical field for the oil and gas industries where wear resistance is required such as mining, transporting, and storing fields due to excellent strain hardening rate.</p> |
