<p>A flat-board printer capable of printing three surfaces according to the present invention comprises: a vertical movement unit driven by a single drive source to vertically move a surface plate on which a printing medium is placed; a horizontal transport unit to horizontally transport the surface plate whose vertical height is controlled by the vertical movement unit along a guide shaft; and a head unit whose position is fixed to print on the printing medium on the surface plate transported horizontally. The flat-board printer capable of printing three surfaces further comprises an enclosed body unit installed on an upper portion of the surface plate, and in which the printing medium is loaded and fixed. The enclosed body unit comprises: a first and a second side wall disposed on both sides of the surface plate; a support wall connecting rear ends of the first side wall and the second side wall; and a cover whose one end is hinge mounted on a front end of the first side wall and whose the other end is mounted on a front end of the second side wall by a mounting means. A plurality of guide recesses are formed on inner surfaces of the first side wall and the second side wall facing each other in a longitudinal direction and correspond to each other. A guide plate is inserted into the guide recesses to adjust a height of the printing medium to dispose an upper surface of the printing medium on an upper surface of the enclosed body unit. Therefore, three surfaces of the printing medium excluding the surface covered by the cover can be printed.</p> |
