The present invention relates to a composition including a ginkgo spermoderm extract for preventing rice sheath blight and a method for preventing rice sheath blight by using a ginkgo spermoderm extract. The composition of the present invention has an effect of preventing rice sheath blight. Accordingly, it is expected that the composition can be utilized as a natural control agent against plant diseases of garden crops.
