The present invention relates to an austenite stainless steel having excellent phase stability and a hydrogen storage vessel using the same, wherein corrosion resistance and mechanical properties are excellent in a liquid hydrogen and high-pressure hydrogen gas environment, and a hydrogen crack is not generated. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an austenite stainless steel having excellent phase stability comprises: 15-16 wt% of Cr; 0.08-0.12 wt% of N; 4-6 wt% of Ni; 1-3 wt% of Cu; 0.8-1.2 wt% of Mo; 0.08-0.12 wt% of C; 0.6-1.0 wt% of Si; 0.08-1.2 wt% of Nb; and the remainder consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities. |
