The present invention is to simply realize the configuration of a facility for conducting cooling and heat recovery simultaneously in a bulk solid cooler in the shape of a shaft such as a sintered ore. The apparatus for cooling a sintered ore has an inlet for a sintered ore and an outlet for a sintered ore formed at an upper part and a lower part respectively to input a hot sintered ore and discharge the hot sintered ore after heat exchange, and includes an outer wall part for forming an accommodation space to maintain a constantly stacked amount of the sintered ore. The outer wall part includes: an outer steel shell, an inner steel shell and a fluid passing part arranged between the outer steel shell and the inner steel shell to pass fluid. A cooling air supply part for supplying cooling air is arranged below the accommodation space and a cooling air recovery part for recovering the cooling air heated by a sintered ore is arranged above the accommodation space. The cooling air circulates along the cooling air supply part, the cooling air recovery part and a heat exchange part. In the heat exchange part, the heated cooling air exchanges heat with fluid supplied to the outer wall part. |
