PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharger capable of suppressing a reduction in the sealing performance of a waste gate valve.SOLUTION: The supercharger includes a turbine housing 13 having a bypass passage 21 bypassing a turbine chamber for exhaust gas to flow therethrough, a waste gate valve 25 for opening/closing the bypass passage 21, and a bypass port 22 which is fixed to the turbine housing 13 and on which the waste gate valve 25 abuts when the waste gate valve 25 is closed. On the turbine housing 13 at its portion supporting the bypass port 22, a reinforcing member (a bolt 32) formed of a material having higher rigidity than a material for the turbine housing 13 is provided for abutting on the face of the bypass port 22 at the opposite side to the face where the waste gate valve 25 abuts, while extending to the outside of the turbine housing 13. |
