<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for a game machine, which has a simple structure, is constituted compact without projections on the rear side and a front side and avoids interference with another member in carrying and using the device. <P>SOLUTION: A base frame 1 is formed to have a channel shape with a nearly horizontal U shape cross section by nearly perpendicularly bending each of an attachment plate 2 on the front side, a rear plate 4 on the rear side, and a support plate 3 on a right side. Reception openings 1a for receiving reception fixtures 53 are formed in the upper part and lower part of the support plate 3 from the rear plate 4. Hook members 5, 6 and lock members 10, 11 are positioned in an internal space enclosed by the attachment plate 2, support plate 3, rear plate 4 of the base frame 1 in locking and also in unlocking. Coil springs 12, 13 are disposed across the hook members 5, 6 and the lock members 10, 11.
