PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a main control circuit to reliably transmit communication data to a secondary control circuit in a short period of time, while improving precision in error detection.SOLUTION: There is provided an entertainment apparatus comprising: a main control circuit 41 which includes a main processing unit 50 including a main CPU 51 configured to control setting of an entertainment state and entertainment processing operation, and a master I/F unit 70 connected to the main processing unit 50 and configured to transmit or receive a variety of types of communication data to a secondary control circuit 42 and a peripheral device; and the secondary control circuit 42 configured to give a presentation on the basis of the communication data transmitted from the main control circuit 41. The communication data is formed of a plurality of items of data and commands. The master I/F unit 70 is equipped with a storage processing function of storing a plurality of items of data and commands forming each item of communication data transmitted from the main CPU 51 into a storage region, and a transmission processing function of assigning an error check code to the plurality of items of data and commands forming each item of communication data stored in the storage region, thereby forming packet data. |
