PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior material for a lithium ion battery, in which a laminated film is used as a base material layer and which has excellent formability.SOLUTION: An exterior material 1 for a lithium ion battery comprises a base material layer 11, an adhesive layer 12, a metal foil layer 13, a corrosion-proofed layer 14, an adhesive resin layer 15 and a sealant layer 16 laminated together sequentially. The base material layer 11 is formed of a laminated film comprising a first biaxially-oriented film 11A and a second biaxially-oriented film 11B laminated together. The first biaxially-oriented film 11A and the second biaxially-oriented film 11B are laminated via an adhesive for dry laminate. The adhesive for dry laminate is a two-part curable polyurethane-based adhesive in which an aromatic or aliphatic isocyanate is allowed, as a hardener, to act on a main agent selected from a polyester polyol, a polyether polyol and an acrylic polyol. |
