<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition that exhibits good low temperature flowability and uses a base oil classified in Group I. <P>SOLUTION: The lubricant composition is produced by adding a polyacrylate-based pour point depressant, obtained by copolymerizing a monomer mixture comprising: 0 to 10 mass% of a monomer having a structure represented by general formula (1), wherein R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is H or methyl and R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is 1 to 4C alkyl; 30 to 80 mass% of the monomer, wherein R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is 5 to 12C alkyl; 20 to 60 mass% of the monomer, wherein R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is 13 to 16C alkyl; and 0 to 30 mass% of the monomer, wherein R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is≥17C alkyl, in an amount of 0.02 to 5 mass% on the basis of the total amount of the composition, to a base oil having a paraffin content of≤90 mass% and a sulfur content of≥0.03 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
