<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle power generation system in which degradation of power generation performance or non-power generation due to damage of a device can be minimized after stoppage of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A on-vehicle power generation system 1 comprises: an internal combustion engine 2; a first device 3 which is subjected to electric polarization by receiving exhaust gas, the temperature of which goes up or down with time, from the internal combustion engine 2; a second device 4 for extracting power from the first device 3; a detection unit 8 for detecting the state of the internal combustion engine 2; an electric field application device 9 for applying an electric field to the first device 3; and a control unit 10 for operating the electric field application device 9 when the state detected by the detection unit is the stop state from a low speed heavy load state of the internal combustion engine 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
