<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve density in an absolutely dry condition of special steel electric furnace oxide slag, which is produced as a by-product when melting or refining special steel in an electric furnace, for providing the special steel electric furnace oxide slag capable of increasing recycle uses. <P>SOLUTION: In the oxide slag produced as a by-product when melting or refining the special steel in the electric furnace, at least one among chromium oxide, manganese oxide and iron oxide is added, or chromium, manganese, and iron in molten steel are oxidized by molten steel oxidization, so that the total of composition ratios of Cr<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, MnO and FeO in the oxide slag is adjusted to 16 mass% or higher while the density in an absolutely dry condition falls within the range of 3.1-4.5 g/cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
