<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay system capable of suppressing occurrence of a state in which data communication is disabled due to a disconnection in a network.SOLUTION: A gateway device 2 (hereafter called a GW device 2) is connected to communication lines 11 and 12, and relays data communication between the ECU 5 connected to the communication line 11 and the ECU 6 connected to the communication line 12. An ECU 3 is connected to the communication lines 11 and 12, and performs data communication between itself and the ECU 5 and between itself and the ECU 6. The GW device 2 also detects the position in which a disconnection occurred in the communication line 11 or 12. The GW device 2 further makes the ECU 3 relay the data communication between the ECU 5 and the ECU6 when it determines that the GW device 2 cannot relay the data communication between the ECU 5 and ECU 6 and the ECU 3 can perform the data communication between the ECU 5 and the ECU 6 on the basis of the detection results of the disconnection position.</p> |
