PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate with a water repellent film having a water repellent film having excellent both static water repellency and dynamic water repellency and excellent durability such as abrasion resistance, a composition for forming a water repellent layer constituting the water repellent film and an article for transportation equipment composed of the substrate with a water repellent film.SOLUTION: There are provided: a substrate with a water repellent film having a water repellent film comprising a water repellent layer formed using a substrate and a composition for forming a water repellent layer containing a linear polyorganosiloxane having a long-chain alkyl group and a hydrolyzable silyl group or a combination of a linear polyorganosiloxane having a hydrolyzable on the terminal and an alkyl silane having a hydrolyzable silyl group on at least a part of a surface of the substrate; and an article for transportation equipment composed of the substrate with a water repellent film.
