The active loudspeaker regulation method uses a sensor (6) for detecting the movement of the loudspeaker diaphragm supplying a signal to one input of a comparator (5) for comparison with a signal representing the required movement. The difference signal provided by the comparator (5) is fed to the non-inverting input of a constant current source (4) incorporated in the output stage for driving the loudspeaker diaphragm. Pref. an ohmic resistor (3) is coupled between the base point (1) of the loudspeaker (2) and earth, the inverting input of the constant current source (4) being coupled to the loudspeaker base point.
