A particle separation apparatus (20A) of a particle measuring apparatus (10A) of the present invention has a fan (4) for generating an air current that introduces a gas from the outside, and a power supply unit (21) that supplies power for having the fan (4) generate a drive output, and the particle separation apparatus separates particles contained in the gas thus introduced, said particles being separated due to inertial forces of the particles. The particle separation apparatus is provided with a drive control unit (22) that drives the fan (4) in intermittent drive mode, in which a first voltage drive state wherein a first voltage is applied to the fan (4) from the power supply unit (21), and a second voltage drive state wherein a second voltage lower than the first voltage is applied to the fan (4) from the power supply unit (21) are continuously repeated. |
