PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectronic sensor capable of easily adjusting the ratio of a threshold value to a light-receiving signal value to detect the same detection object. ! SOLUTION: A transmission-type photoelectronic sensor or a regression reflection-type photoelectronic sensor comprises projecting means, light-receiving means, determining means, target ratio setting means, and sensitivity parameter adjusting means. The projecting means emits detection light for detecting a detection object existing in a detection region. The light-receiving means receives return light with respect to the detection light. The determining means compares a light-receiving signal value which is an output signal value of the light-receiving means with a threshold value, and determines whether a detection object exists.
