PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device which can illuminate the interior of a vehicle while making it possible to visually recognize a cargo loaded on a cargo shelf. ! SOLUTION: In an illumination device, plural OLED panels 20, which reflect light during non-lighting, are disposed on a ceiling 6 or an inner wall surface 5 above a cargo shelf 10. The cargo shelf 10 so projects from the inner wall surface 5 of a vehicle that a cargo 50 can be loaded on a top face 11. The OLED panel 20 is disposed in a direction such that the panel reflects light, which entered therein from the top face 11 side of the cargo shelf 10 during non-lighting, to a lower side of the cargo shelf 10.
