PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device capable of retaining flag information showing whether or not an engine is in automatic stop even when a control part is reset due to a drop of battery voltage and capable of retaining the control data already retained in a non-volatile memory as flag information. ! SOLUTION: An engine control device 10 comprises: a storage part 14 retaining the control data required for controlling an engine; an instantaneous interruption determination circuit 11 including a first capacitor C1; a retention circuit 12 including a second capacitor C2; and a control part 13 controlling the engine on the basis of voltage conditions of the first capacitor C1 and the second capacitor C2. The control part 13 charges or discharges the second capacitor C2 so that the voltage of the second capacitor C2 becomes the voltage according to the control data retained in the storage part 14. !
