PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method and a treatment apparatus of recovery boiler collection ash capable of efficiently recovering a high purity sodium salt such as sodium sulfate and the like with a little contamination of a potassium salt and a chloride. ! SOLUTION: In a treatment method, a slurry is prepared by mixing at least a part of recovery boiler collection ash collected from a recovery boiler to water and sodium salt-containing solid matter is deposited by an evaporation method and recovered. A treatment apparatus is provided with a slurry-preparing tank 1, an evaporation deposition tank 3 disposed at the downstream side of the slurry-preparing tank 1 and flow channels L1, L3 connecting between the slurry-preparing tank 1 and the evaporation deposition tank 3.
