<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and display method that enable a configuration of a multi-display by each display unit to be automatically made.SOLUTION: Each display unit comprises: a storage unit that stores state information related to a picture image to be displayed in the display unit; a change reception unit that receives a change in state information; a transmission unit that transmits the received state information to another display unit; an acquisition unit that acquires the state information transmitted by the other display unit; a determination unit that determines presence or absence of a difference between the acquired state information and the state information stored in the storage unit; and a display screen configuration unit that, when there is a plurality of display units in which the difference is determined to be present by the determination unit, configures a display screen consisting of each display unit with the state information equal of the plurality of display units.</p> |
