<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for manufacturing a glass plate, capable of preventing a refractory product from being worn by a molten glass and foaming gas from the refractory product in a short time.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a glass plate comprises: a baking step of baking a molding apparatus consisting of a refractory product without pouring a molten glass into the molding apparatus; a detection step of detecting the temperature of the molding apparatus baked in the baking step; and a molding step of molding a glass plate from the molten glass using the molding apparatus consisting of the refractory product. In the molding step, molding of the molten glass is started before the temperature of the molding apparatus detected in the detection step after the baking step is equal to or less than the softening temperature of the molten glass.</p> |
