PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threaded container and a container with a cap capable of enhancing cap-opening torque at an initial time of opening while maintaining the cap-opening torque in a relatively low state when opening the container.SOLUTION: In a threaded container 2 comprising a mouthpiece part 23 in which a male screw part 32 is formed, a cap 3 with a liner which comprises a liner 5 on the inner surface of a top surface part 41 of a cap body 4 is mounted to the mouthpiece part 23 in a screwed state. The mouthpiece part 23 comprises: a lip part 31 in contact with the liner 5; a male screw part 32 formed below the lip part 31; and a swollen part 33 formed below the male screw part 32 so as to be swollen, to which a skirt part of a cylindrical part 42 of the cap body 4 is crimped. A recess 37 recessed radially inward is provided in a screw start part located at the upper end part of the male screw part 32.
